Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Onboarding Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant-level positions (operators, technicians, staff). Coordinate interviews and selection with department heads. Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees. 2. Employee Relations & Engagement Maintain healthy employee relations across all levels of plant staff. Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts effectively. Plan and execute employee engagement activities. 3. Attendance & Payroll Support Monitor attendance, shift schedules, and leave records. Coordinate with payroll team for accurate salary processing. Ensure compliance with overtime and wage policies. 4. Statutory Compliance Ensure adherence to labor laws such as PF, ESI, Factory Act, etc. Maintain statutory registers and documentation. Handle audits and inspections from government authorities. 5. Industrial Relations (IR) Support union interactions and negotiations (if applicable). Handle disciplinary actions and domestic inquiries. Maintain discipline and code of conduct on the shop floor. 6. Training & Development Identify training needs for plant employees. Coordinate skill development and safety training programs. Maintain training records and effectiveness tracking. 7. Performance Management Support implementation of performance appraisal systems. Track KPIs and assist managers in performance reviews. 8. HR Operations Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Ensure proper implementation of HR policies and procedures. Generate HR reports and dashboards for management.
