Job Description – Export Executive / Manager (Defence Equipment Export) Position: Export Executive / Export Manager Location: Gurgaon / NCR (or as applicable) Department: International Business / Exports Experience: 5–10 Years (preferred) Industry Preference: Defence Equipment / Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrial Products Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Export professional with hands-on exposure in handling exports of defence equipment/products such as gun parts, precision components, or regulated engineering products to the US market. The candidate should have strong knowledge of international trade compliance, export documentation, banking procedures, and end-to-end shipment execution. Key Responsibilities:  Manage complete export operations for defence equipment/components to international markets, especially the US.  Handle export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, COO, Bill of Lading, etc.  Prepare and manage Letters of Credit (LCs) and ensure timely compliance with LC terms.  Coordinate payment transactions through Bank Realisation (BRC/e-BRC) and other export banking channels.  Liaise with freight forwarders, CHA, customs authorities, banks, and regulatory bodies.  Ensure compliance with export control regulations, DGFT norms, customs laws, and country- specific requirements.  Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve logistics issues.  Coordinate internally with production, finance, stores, and sales teams for timely dispatch.  Maintain export records, shipment reports, and customer communication.  Support business development team for export orders, tenders, and overseas customer requirements. Required Skills:  Strong knowledge of export procedures for defence/regulated products.  Experience in exports to the US market preferred.  Expertise in LC documentation, BRC/e-BRC, international payments, and banking formalities.  Good understanding of customs clearance and freight operations.  Familiarity with DGFT, IEC, HS codes, and export compliance norms.  Good communication and coordination skills.  Proficiency in ERP/MS Excel and export documentation systems. Educational Qualification:  Graduate in Commerce / Business / Engineering / Supply Chain / International Trade  MBA / PG Diploma in Export-Import preferred
